Tighten the loop by sliding it back over the knot or pushing the knot through the loop, ensuring the loop pulls at 90 degrees next to the knot. Place the MAXTRAX RECOVERY DAMPENER over the kinetic or winch rope and attach it to the loop or shackle. Use MAXTRAX 4WD recovery tracks as a ramp to reduce forces on equipment during recovery. Clear the area of bystanders. Begin recovery by gently taking up slack. If unsuccessful at first, try again with slightly more momentum.
